Major expansion for Portobello, the Italian company specialised in the sale of homeware brands, which has opened two new stores in Rome and Milan
Another two successes thanks to Josas. Our team is accompanying Portobello in its national development, and has identified two locations to house the brand’s new sales outlets in Rome and Milan.
The Portobello stores are designed like “neighbourhood shops” and, in keeping with this strategy, Josas oversaw the opening of the two stores on Viale dei Colli Portuensi 453 in Rome and on Corso Genova 20 in Milan, both located in the immediate vicinity of major city hubs. The design of the stores was also carefully studied to make the purchasing experience unique, thanks in part to a wide-ranging assortment.
Portobello was founded in 2016, and in a short time the company has achieved enormous success, becoming the youngest company to be listed by A.I.M.
Its mission is based on the value of the human relationship between the seller and customer, and for this reason all their stores are extremely welcoming and designed to make the purchasing experience unique and satisfy the requirements of all customers, even the most demanding. The idea of a “neighbourhood shop”, where people feel at home, has led the company to develop a winning format, which is reflected in all their sales outlets. As of today, Portobello’s retail network has its primary presence in the Lazio region of Italy, but the brand is aiming to expand throughout the country.
Portobello’s new locations in Rome and Milan
Portobello’s new Rome store has been inaugurated in the heart of the elegant Gianicolense district, commonly known as Monteverde. The store is in the centre of a very interesting, high-traffic commercial area, full of shops, bars and restaurants of various types which welcome local residents and commuters.
The store opened in Milan, on the other hand, is in the immediate vicinity of the docks, the Navigli area and the Duomo, in a commercial area dotted with shops and high levels of foot traffic.
