Food and cryptocurrency, a combination which smacks of innovation. Opening its doors on Via Barberini is the café of the future: Coinbar.
The revolution is passing through Rome. Coinbar, the first Bitcoin Café in Europe, is opening in the Italian capital. With the support of Josas Immobiliare, Via Barnerini sees the opening of a bistro connected to an exchange where customers can share information on cryptocurrencies, as well as purchase products and trade by signing up to the platform www.coinbar.io.
The Bitcoin Bar opened to the public on 1 July 2020, the world’s first location in a project which combines the versatility of a traditional meeting place which follows a traditional bar-bistro model, joined to the world of fintech. It is a new chapter in human evolution. The food is rich, surprising and creative, featuring strong links with nature, using almost exclusively organic and local produce of the highest quality.
THE LOCATION
The first Coinbar is being opened in Italy thanks to the drive of its founders. It is located on Via Barberini 34, in the historic centre of the city, a short walk from Via del Corso and the fashion streets; surrounded by the Roman ruins, amongst the monuments, Baroque, Neoclassical – the extraordinary and unparalleled combination of more than two millennia of history.
The location was chosen in partnership between Coinbar and Josas Immobiliare, based in Rome and with decades of experience in Italian and European operations. Thanks to this partnership, the first steps have already been taken with a view to opening new locations in Rome and Milan.
